The Bozeman Police Department reports for Thursday included the following:
- An officer watched a man get into his vehicle and start it. The man then got out and urinated next to the vehicle. The man was cited for DUI.
- Two vehicles collided around 8:30 a.m. at South 11th Avenue and West Koch Street. A vehicle headed east on Koch did not stop for a stop sign and struck the other vehicle, which was headed south on 11th. The driver of the vehicle that ran the stop sign received minor head injuries from an air bag that deployed in his vehicle.
- A man was reported trying to break into a residence on West Olive Street. The homeowner reported coming home for lunch and finding the man entering the garage through a window that had been broken. The man fled the scene.
- A man reported being threatened for talking on his cell phone in a restaurant on West Main Street.
- An officer found a dead falcon on the front steps of the Law & Justice Center. The bird appeared to have flown into a window.
- A man turned in a camera and camera bag he found on South Rouse Avenue.
The Gallatin County Sheriff’s Office reports for Thursday included the following:
- A woman swerved to miss a deer and rolled her car on Sebena Road. No major injuries were reported.
The inmate population at the Gallatin County jail included the following:
- The jail held 37 inmates. An additional 22 inmates were being held in other jails.
