Corona Productions

Born in the shadow of a total solar eclipse in 1979, Corona Productions and the journal Corona are dedicated to displaying the thoughts and imaginings of those who understand that the most interesting things never happen in the center, but on the periphery, the edge, the rim where the sun’s fire flickers.

Corona Productions has a number of projects under way, including the journal itself and the film project My Book and Heart Shall Never Part. More information about these projects can be found by following the links below.

My Book and Heart Shall Never Part

My Book and Heart Shall Never Part is a dramatic narrative film on the subject of 19th century children’s books and their culture implications.

Corona 5

Where do text and image meet? What new thoughts can we have about the history, nature, and future of the book? How can the act of reading be imagined? Corona 5 engages just these questions, not as its predecessors did — in the form of a printed journal — but as a box filled with wonderful things, all aimed at extending and enriching our understanding of literacy.
